專業律師，曾擔任《時代鏡報》圖書出版集團主席和多家大企業的董事會成員。一九九九年，榮獲美國出版商協會（Association of American Publishers ）頒發的出版界最高終身成就獎，曾出版的著作有《The Contemporary Guide to Negotiating the Author-Publisher Contract》、《A View of the American Publishing Landscape》、《How to Be Your Own Literary Agent》及《All I Know about Management I Learned from my Dog》。
